I just read your book and want to applaud you three for puting it down in words, harrowing though it must have been. What I would like to ask is why were these people not prosecuted? I cannot believe that they still continue with their lives after destroying so many others! Congratulations on not being victims, but survivors - you are an inspiration to all. I wish you and your new "families" all the very best. Read this book!

Finished your book in three days, I just could not put it down. I am sorry for your pain and suffering. Your story makes me realise just how lucky myself and my brother and sister are to have come from such a wonderful loving family. I don't understand how people could still follow the family after all that they have done and all that has been exposed. I wish you and your families a very happy future together. You and your strength are an inspiration to many.

Finished Reading your book a couple weeks ago, couldn't put it down it was very sad to read. Thanks for sharing your experiences with the rest of the world, hopefully by making people more aware of various religious cults abuse like this can stop and be prevented. I wish you all the best of luck.

i've just finished your book and found it incredible! it was terribly sad and shocking, after reading it i've been browzing the net for further information on The Family and couldnt believe how widespread it is...its definately opened my eyes to the situations children are put in by parents and guardians who are mindlessly believing the writings of someone claiming to be the voice of god.....but truly the three of you are amazingly strong women...well done and good luck with everything xxxx

I haven't read the book yet, but I want to say that I admire the courage it took for you three to write your story. I am a former member as well and several times have thought that writing my story would not only help others but could also help me face my own demons and make some sense of the strange reality I lived for so long. Thanks for taking the time and effort to tell us your story. I look forward to reading the book and finding some healing within my own heart as a result.

What a sad story- I could barely put it down. I think about you and the rest of the children almost daily and compare how lucky I have been. Why can't karen Zerby and the rest of these so called religious people be brought to justice. They sicken me. How can so many people still follow this cult when they know it is all based on a crazy man's word?
