I'm in the middle of reading your book and all i can say is "wow". How the hell you managed to survive all that abuse i'll never know. I have 3 kids myself and if anyone touched them i'd kill them. You are all so brave and i know i would never be able to handle going through what you went through. You are all role models. Best of luck. Donna.

Wow! Im just on reading your book now and im truly amazed by your courage and mental strength. The ability the three of you hold to be able to go through all the pain and come out of it like you have done is to be congragulated. You go girls! Well done for your bravery and achievement writing the book and helping other former cult members. You have opened my eyes and made me less naive to the cruelty in this world! I wish you every success and happiness in the rest of your lives! Thank you.

I was so moved by all your stories. It has opened up my eyes to the severity of the cult world. It shows that no matter how much brain washing you can endure the human spirit can reocognise when something is not right. To find the inner spirit and claw your way through such horrific circumstances, to find the right way and in the end inner peace. I wish you all (and your remaining family members)a safe journey to what can be a fulfilled and blessed life. You are all admirable and deserve peace.

Wow, what an amazing story of the human spirit. I would like to appauld all three of you girls for being able to put down in words what you went through. You and your families should be so proud of youselves for being able to overcome such harsh obstercules. This was a fantastic book and i wish you all the best of luck.

I met Juliana briefly at a seminar in London in november and she talked abou this book and I just finished reading your book. My aim is to study new religious movements and your book helped me understand that this is not about a few abused kids, rather a whole generation of kids experiencing this. I'm very thankful to all of you for having the courage and strenght to let the rest of the world know how you grew up it must have been very hard. My best/Sanja

It's such a chilling experience seeing your webpage and watching the videos that are linked on your page, you see...I spent the first 18 years of my life in "The Family" or whatever it is called these days...apart from a few close friends and my MANY brothers and sisters, I really don't have very much contact with other cult survivors like me and since it has been 10 years since I've been in the group, it sometimes feels like a distant dream to me. It's good to be reminded of how far I've come.

I finished reading your book last week and i was unable to put it down. After reading it i had to go on the internet to reserach about the children of god, i have realised how much of a sheltered life i have had and how much you girls have been through. i commend you on your bravery, and i hope the future for you girls is great as you deserve only the best for what you suffered. I have passed this book on to all my friends, and will continue to reccommend it to everyone. Good luck for the future

I stumbled upon your book while trying to kill time between appointments in a bookstore here in Cape Town. I read the cover, and started reading the first story when I had to leave for my meeting. I am counting the days to payday, so that I can buy your book. It will be one of the first things I buy when I get paid. I'm still haunted by the few pages I managed to "steal" while in the bookstore. I will keep you all in my prayers. Be strong...
