You all should be ever so proud of yourself. And it is true what they say by writing this book you help more people then you realise. It has actually helped me tackle some demons of my own, life does go on so thank you very much xxx

The book was wonderful to read but very sad that you all had to go through that. The web site is wonderful! It really adds to the story

I have just read the book Not Without My Sister and i am so sorry for what happened to you 3 girls. I have 2 Children myself and if anyone hurt a hair on their head i would do alot of damage to the person responsible. You are all very brave and i hope that you can live normal lives and always remeber the more you write about your experiences the more it helps other children in the position that you were in that there is a way out. Good luck for the future and be strong xxx

Thank you for being brave enough to share your experiences with us - I hope the writing of the book also helped you to get over the awful experiences you went through. It is scary to think that things like that could be & possibly are going on around us without us noticing, within or without of cults & sects. I find it appalling that so-called religious people can so completely lose sight of simple ethics & allow this kind of abuse of children. I wish you all strength and hope to continue.

I just cant get over your story, you 3 women are so strong and an inspiration to us all...Your book really affected me as i've read other books(mostly catholic) and can never get over how people can use religion to abuse..I hope that in your speaking out others who still remain in the cult can find the courage to leave..

I just want to say that I think you three women are EXTREMELY couragous, brave and strong! I could not put down your book (even reading it at work) Your story has shown me that I also am a strong woman and many out there have much bigger obstacles to climb than myself. Thank you!!!!!

I think you are very brave people and wish you every happiness in years to come. Do not despair what goes around comes around. The so called Justice System has let you and every other child that went thrugh this atrocity down, may they be forgiven. At the end of the day God will punish for He sees all. Bless you all.

I always loved reading true stories, but yours is unbelievable! I can't believe there are people who are so odious, revolting and abhorrent! Although I loved reading the book, I must admit that I was quite sad. I believe in God and the fact that certain people use God and His teaching in that way makes me want to rebel. I hope life treats you better. Take care. xxxx

That is quite a horrific childhood you all had to deal with. Keep on doing the positive work you are doing. I hope you are all happy now.

i have just finished reading your book... i think it is incredible that although you grew up in these appalling conditions and were brought up following the beliefs of the family you were still able to question your way of life and understand that it was so wrong how you were all treated - that in fact it wasn't "God's will". i just feel so sorry for those who are still being brainwashed... i hope that by you bravely telling your stories it will help others. best wishes for the future xxxx

I just read your book and I am so sorry for all you have gone thru. I too was molested all my young life and at 14 was raped by my stepfather and had a baby by him. I understand some of what you went thru. It breaks my heart as a christian woman what people do in the name of God. God bless you and thank you for writing this book. I had seen the programs when davidito killed himself and felt so bad for what he went thru also. I too admire your bravery and determination.

Fantastic job. It brought me right back into the Family homes. I could almost smell the food and see the demerit chart. You told it exactly how it was, no exaggerations, no falsehoods. Cheers for being strong enough to walk away, and cheers for being able to tell the world what really happened. My only wish is that your Father would read the book and know how much you loved him, and know how much you just wanted your dad. To this day I don't think he knows what he lost.

This book is a tue exposition of how hidden sexual assault can lead to confusion and pain to children that can never be taken back. These children have spoken out and thus become a stong survivor rather than the silent agony of a victim. I have yet to read this book but am excited to see the empowerment that these survivor spirits had to build to overcome their horrid hidden abuse. It is amazing to see how many chldren are being abused today whether people want to accept it or not. Be aware.

I have recently finished your book and i must say i was very saddened by it. Each chapter was extremely hard to read but i felt i had to read it to the very end. I cant begin to imagine wat you have been through but your strength and termination is something i admire. Best of luck in the future you are in my thoughts as is Davida x x x x
